We make sure your weekends are filled with plenty to do from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day. Most campers can grab a few days away from Friday to Monday and the campground is buzzing with people so we plan accordingly.
You might want to start your summer off right by staying on Memorial Day Weekend. There will a dance on Saturday night, with a DJ to make sure you stay on your feet. You can request a specific site for this weekend but it will require a three night commitment. If you can only stay two nights, your site will be assigned when you arrive. This is a fun weekend to get your camping mood back in gear and launch you into the summer.
Father’s Day Weekend provides Dad with a free game of mini-golf and he can complete in the Father’s Day Big Splash Contest. The kids and grownups alike love watching this event and cheering all the Dads on to the win. You can all try your skill at a pudding eating contest – that is, without using your hands – and dance the night away to the DJ’s great selection of music.
The Kid’s Carnival Weekend, in early August, is a ton of fun and it benefits a local charity. Kids can take part in a walk for the charity and there will be plenty of carnival games and activities. We’ll raffle off some free camping stays and there will be dancing on Saturday night.
Halloween is a blast at the campground and we celebrate it in late August. Be sure to bring a costume and some candy for trick or treaters. If you’re planning to be back for Labor Day Weekend you can store your trailer on your site for no charge. No need to pack up and go home only to pack up and bring it back a few days later.
These are just a few of the fun filled weekends we have planned for this summer and we hope to see you at several of them. You can download the details and check the dates on our event calendar here: Yogi Bear’s 2016 Special Events Calendar
