You’re going to have a lot of fun while camping and you also may find you need a few supplies for small medical annoyances. The kids may get scrapes and slivers, you may have allergies, and your spouse may have an upset tummy. All of these can be quickly alleviated with a small first aid kit that you brought along.
Bumps, Cuts, and Sprains
There will be lots of running and playing outside so you’re sure to need something to fix these. Bring bandages, gauze pads, medical tape, anti-bacterial cream, hydrocortizone cream, calamine lotion, tweezers, ice packs, a heating pad, and a small magnifying glass.
Cough, Cold, Allergies, Tummy Rumbles and Sinus
Make sure you have a supply of antacids, pain reliever, cough drops, diarrhea medication, eye drops, eye wash cup, chapstick, tooth pain reliever, and anything baby might need as well.
Prescriptions for Everyone
Make sure you have a full supply of prescription medication for each family member and the pets. You might want to bring extra just in case you get waylaid on your way home. Bring them in their original bottles so you have the prescription number and phone number of the pharmacy in case you have a problem.
We want you trip to be worry free and having a first aid kit will help with that goal. You can quickly alleviate any discomforts and the whole family can get back to having fun.
