The campground is a wonderful place to hold your family reunion. You can bring all generations together and they can all be different kinds of campers. Some may want to camp in tents and others in a cabin. You may have RVers in your group with grown children and grandchildren who will be flying in from a far away state and there isn’t room for them in the rig. Everyone can be accommodated in a campground.
It’s best if you can decide your dates and assign one person to be the group contact. That person can work with the campground personnel by providing a list of name and types of campsites needed. We will make sure you are all as close to each other as possible.
You can assign camping gear per family, create a menu, and distribute duties before everyone arrives. This will save each family from packing duplicates and the group can share resources. Duties might include cooking, clean up, driving, and taking care of children. Many hands make for light work, as you know, and spreading the work out over all participants leaves lots more time for play.
Some families like to have special T-shirts printed and others make banners for their food tent. There are many possibilities for having fun and getting caught up with those you haven’t seen in a long time. We’d love to host your family reunion and we look forward to seeing you all here this summer.
