MAIL-IN RESERVATIONS

Mail-in reservations are taken from January 2nd to February 29th.

Is the Mail-in Reservation Process Appropriate for Your Needs?

Mail-in reservations are taken primarily as a service to returning guests and groups who are familiar with our park and facilities. We value the importance of direct communication with our guests and strive to provide this attention when telephone reservations are accepted in March. Returning guests do not typically require telephone interaction when placing a mail-in reservation. If you are a new guest who has never visited our park, you are certainly welcome to make a reservation by mail; however, our office is not regularly staffed during this time of the year. Because of this limitation, we have provided an answering machine for you to leave messages regarding questions about our park and its facilities. We will gladly return your call when we are able to answer and address your questions. Please, no phone messages regarding the availability of specific sites—site assignments are determined strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.

If you feel that the mail-in process in not right for you, please be certain that we will be glad to talk to you and accept your reservation in March when telephone reservations begin. Please be assured that it is our sincere desire to adequately address your concerns and provide the best possible camping experience at our park.

Mail-in Reservation Instructions

To make the mail-in reservation process most effective, the accuracy of the information that you provide on your mail-in reservation form is extremely important to assure proper campsite selection. We rely on your information to assign a campsite that fits your camping equipment (e.g., correct size, sewer hookup, etc.).

Use the link to display and print the Early Mail-in Camping Reservation Form. The form does not require a color printer, but you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader (if you don't have Acrobat Reader, CLICK HERE to download it). Instructions are included on the form for your convenience.

Mail the form and your deposit check to:

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Door County
3677 May Road
Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235

What You Can Expect from Us!

We will process site requests as reservations are received in the mail by postmark date. We cannot promise to assign a requested site, but we will try our best to accommodate specific requested sites. Unfortunately, your requested campsite may either be already taken by another guest, or your specified camping equipment may be incompatible with the size of the site.

Once we review your reservation request, we will either send a confirmation card as your acknowledgement that your request has been processed based on the information that you provided, or we may need to contact you by telephone to clarify information or inform you that your requested site is already occupied.

We hope that this new procedure makes it easier for you to plan a visit with us.

ONLINE RESERVATIONS

Please note that specific campsite requests cannot be honored using the online reservation process.

The online reservation process assures you a campsite in an area of our park based on your camping unit type (e.g., tent, pop-up camper, travel trailer, etc.). Campsites in each area are marked on our Resort Map in red (e.g., Cedars, Circle 1, Cindy BearTM Meadow, and Geyser Meadow) for your reference. Please note that specific campsite requests cannot be honored - only an area is assured if you request one. Specific campsites are assigned at check in. If you wish to request a specific campsite, please either use the mail-in reservation form (January - February) or call our office to make a telephone reservation (March - September).

Online reservations are a convenient and secure way to reserve a campsite at your leisure, in the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply fill out the form and we'll take care of the rest.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations 14 days or more prior to check-in date receive a cash or credit card refund less a $5.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations 9-13 days prior to check-in date receive a Yogi Bear Credit for the full deposit when transferred to a new reservation made during the current camping season. If a cancellation, no show, or arrival date change is made eight days or less prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the deposit per site is non-refundable. Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, we do not give refunds due to discomforts of nature. The FUN continues rain or shine! No refunds for early departures after check in.
